POSITION SUMMARYVisa Inc. needs a Systems Administrators to be responsible for providing systems and application support across, in particular the Visa corporate systems environment.  This position requires applying root cause operation break fixes and other proactive maintenance activities to keep the services up and running. This is a professional level position and requires strong execution and analytical abilities.  This role works independently and receives minimal guidance. JOB SCOPE Provide automation solutions of manual tasks performed by infrastructure support.Develop solutions using available tools and technologies and assist the global team in problem resolution by hands-on participation. Operate in complex, highly-secure, and highly-available, operations environments and interact with the technology domain experts required to maintain those environments.Support the development and incorporation of best practices and approaches into the company´s processes and methodologies. Candidate must have a strong demonstrated commitment to customer service, pro-active review of processes and procedures to continually enhance service quality, service delivery and support. Will work closely with areas across Visa including, Operations, Engineering, Service Product office, and Global Open System Development Lines.  The candidate will be heavily involved in ensuring team meets all SLA's and team objectives.  Must have a strong commitment to execution, follow through and timely communication.Execute decisive action to preserve and maintain service availability, performance, integrity, capacity and security. Lead and participate in the determination of root causes for service failure and support escalation, using knowledge and experience of Windows 2003/2008, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, VMWare ESX, IIS, Active Directory, Sharepoint, and Exchange server. Bachelors/Degree or equivalent experience; Typically requires a minimum of 4-8 years experience in an application hosting, enterprise or data center environment. Understanding of automation technologies including Windows scripting and automation. HP Operations Orchestrator experience is highly recommended.  Application development experience is also a plus. Individual should be self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Sound planning, organizational and problem solving skills. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customer Strong project, organizational, presentation, and writing skills.  Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among concurrent projects.Education or experience must include: Windows Systems Administration required, UNIX experience a plus.Virtualization support i.e. VMWare; Shared infrastructure support i.e. XenApp/XenDesktop; Strength in scripting against Windows i.e. PowerShell, VB; Operational knowledge of MS SCCM;Support of infrastructure hardware i.e. HP Blade technology]]></DESCR>
