Supply Manager West (Singapore)

Reporting to: Director of Procurement Department

• Lead & develop the PSG tactical procurement teams in SEA (Singapore, Manila, Thailand, Malaysia, China).
• Ensure the tactical procurement team maintains & tracks material & supply levels by utilizing demand planning tools & communicating those material positions with Supply Chain Management, Customer Service Team & Demand Planning Team.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels utilizing existing forecasts, supplier inventory & safety stocks in addition to reducing material lead times & ensuring performance is measured on a weekly basis.
• Be the prime point of contact for all Procurement activity in Singapore, supporting development of new business.
• For specific suppliers, create development plans & lead continuous improvement projects with key suppliers & conduct supply chain commodity reviews.
• Manage & create specific KPI measures including delivery, product quality, inventory levels, fill rate objectives, lead time development, on-time shipping performance & logistics lead times.
• Provide supervision to team members in setting & achieving their targets & goals.

• Degree in Business or Engineering with minimum 3 years experience in a Team Leader/Management role in Procurement or Customer Service environment preferably in electrical/electronic products.
• Computer literate; experience in using any ERP system (Oracle, JDE, SAP) preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to details and result-oriented.
• Effective and efficient interpersonal skills coupled with good communication skills.
• Experience in management within a globally diverse organization.
• Willing to work on flexible work schedules.
