The Client

Our client is an international bank with a strong franchise which combines an in-depth knowledge of local markets, with global product expertise to offer effective financial solutions. Coupled with an aggressive growth strategy, they are looking to hire credit documentation professionals in the banking and finance sector to join their ranks, at Associate to VP levels.

The Position  

• Effective management of securing documentation processes for designated borrowing relationships in Wholesale Bank, Singapore by enforcing service oriented but independent control over related processes
• Provide Effective operational support to other areas of Wholesale Bank
• Provide high quality support and advice on all securing documentation matters to business units
• Ensure security documentation taken is enforceable and gives protection to the Bank

The Candidate

• Good working knowledge of corporate bank products/ services
• Good working knowledge on Singapore Company Law and legal requirements for perfection of security documentation
• Sound knowledge of banking practices, relevant legislation and statutory and regulatory requirements
• Organized and able to work independently with minimum supervision and possess a good eye for detail
• Good communication skills - written and spoken
• Experience with lending/ syndications involving Commodity Corporates, Banks and other Financial Institutions is an advantage
• Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Preferably possess tertiary education or relevant professional qualification with minimum 3 years experience in corporate lending documentation
