Your Role:
You will be responsible for the quarterly consolidations and reporting of our private equity fund in Asia and review of underlying financial statement information prepared by foreign subsidiary companies. You are responsible for understanding differences between local country GAAP, U.S.GAAP and IFRS to facilitate financial statement conversion process. You will ensure quality, accuracy and relevance of all financial and non-financial real estate operating information related to real estate assets for private equity fund and handle requisition from investors and investors’ auditor. You will perform accurate and timely monthly and quarterly closing procedures and coordinate and perform budget and forecast. You will provide analysis regarding monthly and quarterly results (including, analysis of actual results vs. budget, forecast and prior period). Responsible for a portfolio of Singapore incorporated SPVs and work with in-house tax team and external tax agent to ensure timely and accurate tax filings. You will liaise with external auditors for private equity fund and local statutory reporting and provide guidance and supervision to subordinate. You will engage in ad-hoc project as and when required.
Your Profile:
You should have a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent and 8+ years of overall accounting experience, accounting experience in private and public industry would be advantageous. You have a strong understanding and experience with consolidations and good understanding of international GAAP (IFRS) rules. Other Asia countries GAAP rules, U.S. GAAP rules and real estate experience would be a plus. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and strong coordination skill. You have the ability to work well under pressure and are a dedicated team player that is flexible and adaptable to change.
