Our client is a leader in the oil and gas industry.  It underwent a recent restructuring to ensure that it remained nimble in responding to dynamic industry and economic conditions and challenges.

The Position

This is a HR business partnering role and reports to the Regional Business Leader covering Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.  This person will actively engage the business and ensure that HR is aligned to achieve business objectives and provide solutions to business challenges.

Leading a small team, this role is responsible for planning, developing, supporting, co-ordinating and administrating all human resources management activities to achieve agreed business objectives. This includes staff recruitment, compensation & benefits, training and development, employee relations and providing line managers with advice concerning HR issues.

The Candidate

Degree qualified, you should have at least 10 to 15 years of HR and people management experience. Experience in the oil and gas industry is a must as the candidate needs to understand the specific challenges and people issues. 

You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are a hands-on, independent and results-oriented person.  Foreigners willing to relocate can expect an expat package.
