· Ensuring effective and efficient Management of day to day Datacenter Operations
· Manage/Improve the work-flows and through-put for data Centers Operations, globally.
· Become a subject master in Data Center Operations.
· Ensure all operational KPIs and Metrics are being measured and met inside his/her Data Centers(s).
· Play a key part in innovation and driving automation within Data Center Operations.
· Be passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided by the Data Center Operations team and continuously strive to improve our Customer Experience.
· Management of Large Scale Events in the Datacenter(s).
· Part of an on-call rotation for Datacenter Issue escalations.
· Vendor management/Monitoring Vendor performance.
· Ensuring his/her Data Center is compliant with all relevant security policies and procedures.
Knowledge & Skills/ Business Acumen/ Education & Experience

· Have you worked in a Data Center before and/or can you articulate what it takes to run an operational efficient Data Center?
· Do you have prior people management experience with directs reports?
· Do you have current knowledge of at least one of the following skills?
· Server Hardware (troubleshooting).
· Using & troubleshooting Linux or Unix.
· Facilities engineering.
· Technical Project Management

Preferred Technical Requirements/Competencies
· Some understanding of Power, Cooling & Facilities Engineering inside a data center.
· Knowledge of server hardware maintenance/troubleshooting across multiple server vendors.
· Some experience of managing large scale disk sub-systems.
· Experience of Linux or another UNIX OS.
· Some knowledge of Linux in a SAN/NAS Environments.
· Experience with capacity planning, preferably at a server and data center level.
· Experience with Cisco equipment in an enterprise environment.
